Application

Trichloroethylene is an organic compound with the chemical formula C2HCl3. It is a colorless transparent liquid formed by the substitution of three hydrogen atoms in ethylene molecules by chlorine. It is insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, and can be mixed with most organic solvents. It is mainly used as a solvent and can also be used for degreasing, freezing, pesticides, spices, rubber industry, washing fabrics, etc.
