Main purpose

Sodium Isopropyl xanthate is an important flotation reagent for sulfide ores, with the following main uses:
- The colletcting power of isopropyl sodium xanthate is slightly stronger than that of ethyl sodium xanthate.It is mainly used in the flotation of various non-ferrous metal sulfide ore.
- Mineral flotation: It serves as a collector for sulfide ores and is widely used in the beneficiation of sulfide minerals such as copper, lead, zinc, nickel, and silver. It can react with metal ions on the surface of sulfide ores to form a hydrophobic film, making mineral particles easy to attach to air bubbles and float to the surface of the pulp, thereby achieving the separation of useful minerals from gangue.
-Application in specific scenarios: In the flotation separation of some complex sulfide ores, due to its selectivity and collecting performance, it can be used to enhance the recovery of target minerals or improve the separation efficiency under specific process conditions (such as pH control).
