Application

Acetona is an important raw material for organic synthesis, which is used in the production of epoxy resin, polycarbonate, plexiglass, medicine, pesticide, etc. It is also a good solvent for coatings, adhesives, cylinder acetylene, etc. Also used as diluent, cleaning agent, extractant. It is also an important raw material for manufacturing acetic anhydrides, diaceton alcohol, chlorofor, iodoforms, epoxy resin, polyisoprene rubber, methyl methacrylates, etc. It is used as solvent in smokeless powder, celluloid, acetate fiber, spray paint and other industries. It is used as extractant in oil industry.
